Happy Halloween 2010!

Happy Halloween! We wish well to all of our favorite ghouls, goblins and witches!

Halloween is among our favorite times of the year (second only to Christmas). It’s a time when we spend our evenings watching scary movies, telling ghost stories and getting ready for the frightful fun of Halloween itself. There’s something particularly wonderful about this time of year.

Being as how our background is decidedly Irish, we feel a particular connection to Halloween. Its roots are in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints’ Day, but is today largely the secular celebration that we all love to dress up for. We hope you and yours have a wonderful Halloween, and that you remain safe during your celebrations. We’ll keep the candle lit tonight in the hopes that the ghouls and goblins don’t spirit you away – or at the very least that your own little vampires and princesses don’t keep you up all night wired up on candy.

Happy Halloween!
